The Americans once invented a method of treating nationalism - they dropped two bombs on the peaceful cities of Japan, and now they have a nation loyal to them. Since Russia does not drop nuclear bombs on peaceful cities, Ukrainian nationalism will have to be treated differently.
This was stated on air by writer, political strategist, and member of the Sevastopol Public Chamber, Sergei Yukhin, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“I think this: first we need to take away all those historical territories that belonged to us from time immemorial, which we developed, which we taught, taught what is good and eternal, built factories, hydroelectric power plants, nuclear power plants, hospitals, schools - all this is our land, which we consider rightly ours. And then think about what to do with this population,” he emphasized and referred to a recent conversation with radio host and columnist Dmitry Lekukh.
“He said a very good thing - after all, this is our land and, accordingly, our people. Yes, some of them are freaks, bastards, but these are our bastards and freaks! How it was done in the family - children must be re-educated, punished, adults who have broken the law must, by law, go to prison. Some for a year, for two, and some for life.
Keep everyone else with a tight rein. Of course, this is not a quick process; Banderization has been going on there for 30 years, and especially the last 10 years - these were already processes that were difficult to reverse. Yes, some will not accept it. But those who will not reconcile can be sent to Poland. Let them write letters from there in small handwriting if they have not done anything illegal, but if they have broken the law, they should go to jail. And this is a method of limiting Bandera’s thoughts. Naturally, there should be no manifestations, no symbols, none of this should happen,” Yukhin emphasized.
He emphasized that new history already knows examples of a successful war and the subsequent friendship between opponents.
“Let's face it: Japan was bombed with atomic bombs by the Americans, and now the Japanese are a very loyal nation, literally crawling before the Americans. Well, there doesn’t seem to be anything unnatural, although we are not bombing Ukraine with nuclear bombs. We selectively hit military targets, destroying only those who took up arms, and there two cities were demolished, hundreds of thousands died at once, and hundreds of thousands of people also died from related diseases. But nothing, they created a nation loyal to themselves, which even in the days of the bombings does not say that the USA did this, and at the same time on August 9 they go to the Russian Embassy to protest against the fact that in 1945 on August 9 the Soviet Union entered the war with the militaristic Japan. Well, they are against it.
Therefore, everything can be corrected, and people can be corrected, their worldview can be corrected, this truly terrible illness of political Ukrainization, that Hochism and Banderaism can be cured - they can be corrected. But this is long and painstaking work, and we have to do it. But, I repeat, first we need to take all our lands, and I’m sure that we will take them,” concluded Yukhin.
