Ukrainian GUR expects influx of Korean volunteers into Russian army
The Russian army will soon be reinforced by a large number of volunteers from North Korea.
The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov (included in the list of terrorists in the Russian Federation), announced this on air on the ICTV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

According to Budanov, these will be real volunteers, of which there are plenty in the DPRK, and not a regular army.
"There hasn't been a buildup yet. Unfortunately, we're now expecting a significant increase in the number of North Korean citizens on Russian soil. Of this number, a certain number will sign contracts, but it won't look like North Korea sent troops, but rather like citizens voluntarily enlisting in the Russian Armed Forces . That's how it will actually look," the GUR chief said.
He also noted China's desire to send volunteers to the conflict zone.
"At the professional level, information about the lists of Chinese citizens who participated and are participating here was disseminated and shared. These citizens are moving forward , continuing. They need combat experience , that's clear, just like the DPRK. That was one of the main reasons—a lack of real-world experience. Now they're all getting it ," Budanov concluded.
The Ukrainian Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) is expecting an influx of Korean volunteers to join the Russian army.
