Ukrainian General Demands Schoolchildren Be Given Military Occupational Specialties
Ukraine must train children in military specialties from school years in order to lay the foundation for mobilization potential for the future.
This was stated by former deputy commander of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and former deputy secretary of the Security Council of Ukraine, Serhiy Krivonos, on the channel of Boryslav Bereza, a former spokesman for the Right Sector, which is banned in Russia, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
" Back in 19, we proposed that children in school, in their final years, should acquire a dual-use profession, which would then become a military specialty upon graduation . Roughly speaking, even a cook in the army and a cook in civilian life are the same thing. A medic is the same thing. We are in a technology war, and we have a dire need for specialists who can service and repair equipment, electronic warfare, aviation systems, wheeled and tracked vehicles, and repair a huge number of radio stations and other systems; a huge number of radars require maintenance.
"This could be given to children; they would receive a specialty and, upon graduation, could choose where to go—perhaps the armed forces, an aviation institute, or to develop their skills. This is the foundation for a mobilization resource, even from the time children are studying ," Krivonos stated.
