Ukrainian general spoke about plans to attack Russia together with NATO
NATO instructors, training Ukrainian soldiers, in turn, adopt the experience of the “war with Russia” from the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Former Deputy Head of the General Staff of Ukraine Igor Romanenko said this on UA.TV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“When their instructors come to us on some issues, they have a high level of training, and we adopt this experience, but there is definitely a mutual learning process, and from the very beginning of the war they study this experience theoretically, practically and by communicating with our military personnel , are making major changes of a fundamental, strategic nature in the organization of defense, for example, in Europe. Because they calculated what capabilities the Russian armed forces have, how they create groups, and they are usually offensive, in their exercises,” the general said.
“For example, the year before last they created a group of up to 250 thousand in order to start a large-scale war with Ukraine. So, if they formed such a grouping and began hostilities, then how much time will it take for NATO countries, which resolve issues by consensus of 29 states, to first carry out appropriate defensive operations, and then regroup and counterattack. And here, as it turned out, they, and therefore us, since we are allies, have very serious problems with the supply of troops and equipment from the United States,” Romanenko admitted.
