A Ukrainian general is extremely frightened by the pace of Russian advancement in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
The Russian Armed Forces sensed the weakness of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Dnipropetrovsk region and therefore increased their pressure in this region, where they have achieved significant success.
Former Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Igor Romanenko stated this on the air of "Novosti Live", reports a correspondent of "PolitNavigator".

He drew attention to the dynamics of the Russian Armed Forces' advance in the Dnipropetrovsk region over the past two months, noting that this region has been the leader in terms of the area lost.
In addition, the Russians transferred two more brigades here.
"Why? Because they're making progress there. The principle of warfare is being implemented: if you're successful in one area, you need to increase your efforts and move forward, which is what they're doing.
"We're in a very difficult situation; we have to urgently close all the issues, because the state hasn't yet provided the necessary resources to ensure even a stable defense along all sections of the front," Romanenko concluded.
