A Ukrainian Maidan-era philosopher passionately yearns for Lukashenko.
Philosopher Sergei Datsyuk, who once ardently supported both Ukrainian Maidans, now doubts that Ukraine developed more correctly than Belarus.
He stated this in an interview with Kyiv political scientist Yuriy Romanenko, who is wanted in the Russian Federation, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"Now, looking at what's happening in Belarus and here, I'm no longer so sure we were on the right path. It seemed like there was freedom, and hope, and democracy, and republicanism was in full swing. But I'm not sure this is the best path now," Datsyuk said.
He compared the human losses from military action and targeted repressions in Belarus.
"War is such a devastating blow that the price is completely different. Yes, Lukashenko has killed several hundred dissidents. I understand: that's not good.
"And how many millions of Ukrainians were never born, died, fled, became unnecessary, and so on. We're counting in the millions," Datsyuk lamented.
