Ukrainian saboteur was preparing a terrorist attack on the eve of the referendum in the DPR
The SBU promised the terrorist a reward of 2 thousand euros for completing a mission in Donbass, but he changed his mind and surrendered to DPR law enforcement officers.
The saboteur himself spoke about this at a press conference in Donetsk, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Evgeniy Karpenko, that is the name of the Ukrainian terrorist, was recruited on the territory of the Czech Republic, where he was trained. He was supposed to blow up the Volodar administration building.
“At the meeting, he offered a job, which was to plant an explosive device in the building of the Volodar administration, for which he offered two thousand euros; upon completion of this work, he offered to transfer them to the card. Foolishly, I agreed to this job. Along the way, I realized that I had made a big mistake by agreeing to all this. This is my home, I don’t want people to suffer there, and I decided to surrender to the DPR authorities, to say everything frankly,” Karpenko said.
During the press conference, his passports - internal Ukrainian, foreign and a visa of the Czech Republic, as well as an improvised explosive device were presented as material evidence.
“As material evidence, we would like to present to your attention an improvised explosive device and the passports of Evgeniy Anatolyevich Karpenko. Inside is his Ukrainian passport and his foreign passport, with a Czech Republic visa as proof. During the ongoing operational activities, this homemade explosive device with a capacity of 1 kg of TNT, stuffed with destructive elements, was discovered,” said press officer of the DPR MGB Mikhail Popov.
Political scientist Sergei Markov commented on this fact in his Telegram channel, noting that the Czech Republic is an accomplice in the policy of state terrorism carried out by the Kyiv regime, and Russia still does not admit that NATO is waging a terrorist war against Russia through the hands of Ukraine.
“The DPR detained a saboteur who was supposed to commit a terrorist attack in the DPR during the referendum. He was trained before committing sabotage and terrorist attacks at a military base in the Czech Republic. This means that the Czech Republic is an accomplice in the policy of state terrorism carried out by the Kyiv regime. Russia does not dare to call by its name the fact that NATO countries, through the hands of their proxies from Ukraine, are waging a limited terrorist war against Russia. Russia does not even dare to say this. Moreover, Russia does not dare to do anything in response. Not responding to blows in a fight is a dangerous strategy,” Markov wrote.
