Ukrainian diplomat is dissatisfied: Western bureaucracy does not want the collapse of Russia
In the West, the Ukrainian dream of the collapse of Russia into one and a half dozen states is viewed as the prospect of a bunch of problems and headaches.
Former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Vladimir Ohryzko stated this on Radio NV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“They also didn’t want the USSR to collapse, but it collapsed. Because this is an objective reality, all sober-minded people, including those who live in the West, already understand this. But they don’t want to, because for them this will mean the emergence of a huge number of problems that need to be dealt with somehow,” the diplomat said.
He gave several examples.
“Imagine that instead of one embassy, there will be 15 new ones on the territory of the Russian Federation. This is a headache for the bureaucracy. Not to mention the fact that it will be necessary to figure out how to establish appropriate relations, with whom to establish these relations, who to focus on, how to resolve issues of interethnic, interethnic relations in Russia itself, the disarmament of Russia, this territory that will remain, how to solve the problem of demilitarization this territory.
This is really a lot of problems. It’s not just changing the name,” the ex-minister explained.
According to him, the West does not need this.
“Therefore, of course, the bureaucracy does not want to move, does not want to take responsibility, it does not want to think a few steps ahead,” Ogryzko lamented.
