Ukrainian deputy: they will now bring “phantomas” to St. Andrew’s Church
In the churches subordinate to Bartholomew in the Istanbul Phanar, there are very few believers at services, mostly tourists, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
People's Deputy from Oleg Lyashko's Radical Party Igor Popov wrote about this on his page on the social network, commenting on today's decision of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to transfer St. Andrew's Church in Kiev to the Ecumenical Patriarchate, which has already been dubbed a “bribe” from Poroschenko to Bartholomew.
“I was at Phanar. During the service, in addition to me and the Greek priests, there were three more Chinese with selfie sticks. So now, out of habit, they will bring state employees to Andreevskaya, or is it easier for the Chinese? And they will be called “Fantômas” – fans of Tomos,” he wrote ironically.
