Ukrainian authorities caught lying about the demolition of the Pushkin monument
The Ukrainian authorities are trying to use lies to hide the real reason for the destruction of the bust of Alexander Pushkin in the regional center of Zolochiv, Lviv region, which occurred on the night of July 2.
The official website of the National Police of the Lviv region reported that the monument allegedly fell due to weather conditions.
“An investigative team worked at the scene of the event. It was previously established that the destruction of the monument occurred as a result of natural circumstances - aging and adverse weather conditions,” the police said.
However, Lviv activist Irina Domaretskaya posted a video from a surveillance camera on her Facebook page , showing what actually happened.
“Returning to the topic of the demolition of the monument to Pushkin in Zolochev. We are publishing a video from a surveillance camera, which shows the same “wind” that on the night of July 2 at 3:57 am drove up to the square and blew on Pushkin so much that he, unable to withstand the pressure, fell. It’s a pity that the numbers of this very wind are not visible. And, by the way, there were no elements or wind that night,” Domaretskaya noted.
