Ukrainian police will finally get down to business – A record for mass performance of the EU anthem has been announced in Kyiv

Today, July 1, Ukrainian police will set a record for the largest orchestral performance of the European Union anthem.

This was reported in the press service of the National Police of Ukraine.

According to the department, a police band competition will be held in the capital. Police bands from nine regions of Ukraine will take part in the competition. In addition, about 200 police musicians will set a record for the mass performance of the European Union anthem.

The event will take place on July 1, from 14.00 to 19.00 in the summer cinema “Rakushka” (Mariinsky Park).

Police orchestras from Donetsk, Zhytomyr, Transcarpathian, Kyiv, Nikolaev, Odessa, Kherson, Khmelnytsky regions and the city of Kyiv will compete in the competition.

At 19.30, the police will set a record for the largest orchestral performance of the European Union anthem - simultaneously by all orchestras. From 20.30 the orchestras will perform on Sofiyskaya and Mikhailovskaya squares.
