Ukrainian oligarchs and Washington are starting to look for a replacement for Poroshenko, who has lost his adequacy.
An analysis of the latest sociology shows that President Poroshenko’s rating continues to fall, writes the head of the Ukrainian branch of the Institute of CIS Countries, Denis Denisov, in an author’s column on the pages of the weekly “Arguments and Facts”.

“Based on these trends, it seems that Poroshenko is confidently moving towards achieving the result of his godfather Viktor Yushchenko, who in the 2010 presidential elections decided to be re-elected for a new term, but ultimately took 5th place - 5.45% of Ukrainian citizens voted for him.” , notes the author. Toward his presidential “equator,” Poroshenko managed to ruin relations with a huge number of politicians and businessmen both in Ukraine and outside it. Which in turn predetermines the creation of coalitions against Poroshenko and the beginning of actions aimed at removing him from the political “Olympus” of Ukraine.”
“Recently, more and more information has appeared regarding close interaction between representatives of the Batkivshchyna and the Opposition Bloc, the result of which should be a united front in the fight against Poroshenko,” the political scientist points out. – Most likely, this interaction will be coordinated by Sergei Levochkin, who has administrative skills and a penchant for such projects. To this we can add a group of oligarchs who are in confrontation with Poroshenko and are ready to finance a joint struggle. This is primarily Rinat Akhmetov, Igor Kolomoisky, Dmitry Firtash.”
