Ukrainian saboteurs may reach the Northern Sea Route.
Amid the confrontation with the West and escalating sanctions, the Northern Sea Route is becoming increasingly important as a logistics route from east to west. This creates numerous temptations for Russia's adversaries to destabilize the situation there.
Economic expert Vladimir Demidov stated this on the Baltnews video blog, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"Indeed, this is a wonderful opportunity for Russia to develop its north—that's what we really need to focus on . But at the same time, we must remember that the US is currently trying to control all logistics routes."
Literally at the beginning of the year, the Panama Canal was, so to speak, illegally recaptured, and the Suez Canal is generally controlled by American and British forces. But the more important the Northern Sea Route becomes, the more we need to think about its security.
Because hotheads, some Ukrainian divers, will definitely start thinking about visiting this territory as well.
And this situation raises a very interesting point. Spitsbergen Island is becoming extremely important because it's located right at the exit from China to the west, at the exit of the Northern Sea Route. Therefore, any militarization of this island by NATO would simply block the Northern Sea Route ," Demidov stated.
