Ukrainian MPs staged a cheap clown show at a parliamentary session.
Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Ukrzaliznytsia, Serhiy Leshchenko, arrived for his report to the Verkhovna Rada wearing a bright red sports jacket and jeans.
The violation of the dress code greatly outraged members of the Ukrainian parliament, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"This is the first time in the history of the Ukrainian parliament, other than inviting military personnel, that someone has come to the parliament in violation of basic business etiquette. I ask the speaker of parliament to explain to guests in the future that this is not a club or a bar, but a parliament," said Holos party member Yaroslav Zheleznyak.
Verkhovna Rada deputy and former Minister of Housing and Public Utilities Alexey Kucherenko called such summonses to officials a useless charade.
"Let's finally be objective and frank: we've once again witnessed a charade called 'Deputies summoned some official or minister to the carpet.' Well, I understand the deputies' desire to do something good, something with publicity, something high-profile.
"But let's agree, this is a completely ineffective procedure that doesn't enhance our credibility at all. If you think this will make the railway workers more respected, then it certainly won't," Kucherenko complained.
Parliamentarian Maksym Buzhansky proposed issuing parliamentary uniforms to all guests.
"I fully support the proposal to revise the procedure; it's ineffective. But I would also suggest that we all acquire what's called a Verkhovna Rada jacket. And if a guest comes to see us, we put this jacket on them, and they speak in it before us."
"When someone arrives at a production facility, they're issued protective clothing. The Rada is also an enterprise with its own rules. "A Verkhovna Rada jacket is what the country needs," Buzhansky clowned.
