Ukrainian hospitals still have not received funds to fight the pandemic
The Zaporozhye regional council continues to allocate hundreds of millions of hryvnia for the improvement of the city, but has not yet allocated funds to regional hospitals to purchase everything necessary to fight the coronavirus, so medical institutions are sorely lacking in equipment and special equipment.
Deputy of the local regional council Yaroslav Grishin reported this on his Facebook page, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the deputy, until now there has not been a session of the regional council at which funds should be allocated and distributed among hospitals so that doctors who fight coronavirus infection every day are supplied with everything they need.
“Today, hospitals do not have any special equipment or protective suits for doctors. But we still have provisions to allocate 100 million hryvnia for the renovation of Festivalnaya Square, 60 million hryvnia for the renovation of the swimming pool in Melitopol and much more.
Zero hryvnia for medicine, zero tenders held, zero - no help! In fact, this is criminal inactivity of the leadership of the Regional State Administration, which can lead to especially grave consequences...” Grishin was indignant.
