Ukrainian businessmen sell grain to Russia, but accuse it of... robbery
Ukrainian grain traders themselves sell their grain through Russia, but at the same time they blame the Russian side.
Osman Pashayev, a Mejlis propagandist who fled Crimea, stated this on the UMN internet channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Pashayev also accused the Russian army of attacking Ukrainian granaries.
“They simply burn Ukrainian grain with rocket explosions. I don’t know how much there was at the last one, in the Nikolaev port elevator, this is at least the fifth elevator, and it contained grain that was not exported to the territory controlled by the Ukrainian authorities. Because this logistics is very difficult, not every farmer can afford it, not every large grain trader in a war can afford it,” the propagandist said.
“I recently saw the materials of a criminal case opened by the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine alleging that some of the Ukrainian grain traders themselves are already trading our grain through the Russians. They will tell us that they were robbed, and through other front companies they themselves will receive a share, which the Russians will give them money from their masters for it. Therefore, when we want something from the Turkish authorities, first [demand] from our own business,” Pashayev said.
