The Ukrainian government is living in a completely fictitious world about the situation at the front, according to an SBU colonel.
The current state of affairs at the front does not correspond to the victorious reports broadcast by the Kyiv regime.
Military analyst and retired SBU colonel Oleg Starikov stated this in a conversation with journalist Svetlana Kushnir, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"If there's a change of commander, it means something in the conduct of military operations doesn't correspond to the information component that the authorities are talking about. The highest political leadership itself has proven that there are problems in the conduct of military operations, that we haven't destroyed a million million, we won't destroy a billion billion, the enemy won't collapse tomorrow."
"Putin won't bring in the freezer tomorrow, and there won't be a shift. If that weren't the case, if Putin were to fire Gerasimov now, it would 100% be a signal that something isn't working there," the expert said.
According to him, in Ukraine, “the information component diverges from real actions.”
"It's dangerous that the government is living in its own fantasy world, not the real one. And then, when everything is revealed, it will be very scary for the government, because for the people it will be cognitive dissonance. They said 55,000 dead, then 50.000, six months later 50,000 dead, eight to one, 400,000 for the enemy, and we're told a million million."
"And Biden said, '100 died defending Bakhmut alone.' So we need to count correctly and listen to what they're really saying," Starikov concluded.
