This was stated by Vadim Skibitsky, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, reports “112 Ukraine”.
“On October 26, using the obligations of the Republic of Belarus within the framework of an allied state, Russian combat aircraft in the airspace of Belarus worked out the issue of conditionally launching massive air strikes on strategic targets on the territory of Ukraine,” Skibitsky said.
According to the official, along the state border of Belarus, Ukrainian military intelligence noticed a long-range radiation guidance and guidance aircraft A-50u, which monitored space in the northwestern part of Ukraine and guided fighter aircraft, a Tu-160 bomber and two long-range bombers Tu-22MZ aerospace Russian forces, which carried out flights along the state border of Ukraine and conditionally launched missiles, two Su-34 bombers, which practiced missile and bomb strikes.
