Ukraine will lose even more of its population once martial law is lifted. Political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this on journalist Alexander Shelest's video blog, as reported by PolitNavigator.
According to the expert, Ukrainians will flee the country because they will not be sure that the war will not happen again.
“Now you have established a truce - elections must be held, martial law must be lifted. If no one is sure that the war will not resume in three or four years, those who can will leave. The only ones left will be, I don’t know who.
Many people, their 15-16 year old sons, are already thinking about this. They will leave because again there is mobilization, again there is war, again these money-catchers from the TCC. Then, it turns out, martial law should not be lifted,” Karasev said.
