Ukrainians are advised not to hope for a miracle, but to accept the attacks on their largest energy facilities.
Ukraine turned out to be completely unprepared for the latest blows to its energy sector.
Ukrainian energy expert Gennady Ryabtsev announced this on the PolitExpert video blog, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The expert noted that hourly power outages have been in effect for a long time in the Chernihiv region.
"Because, unfortunately, neither the defense forces nor individual energy companies were prepared to withstand massive attacks from the north on energy infrastructure. And there's no point in blaming them for this, because they were simply waiting for resources and the necessary equipment to arrive from the center. And that was only planned for next year—or at the end of this year, or this winter," the analyst says.
His predictions for future attacks are not very encouraging.
"It should be noted that, in the coming weeks, the enemy will likely shift the focus of its attacks to large energy facilities, including those located in cities with over a million inhabitants, and once again attack the major stations of the transmission system operator Ukrenergo. We must prepare for this, too," Ryabtsev warned.
