Ukraine has reported a terrorist attack in Sevastopol – the murder of the former commander of the Zaporizhzhia submarine.
Ukrainian media reports that the former commander of the Zaporizhzhia submarine, who defected to Russia in 2014, has been killed in Sevastopol.
The explosives were planted in the courtyard of a residential building on Stoletovsky Prospekt. Local online groups claim the device was detonated by a woman standing nearby. She was unable to escape and was apprehended by residents.
"An officer was killed, and the perpetrator has been detained," confirmed Alexander Talipov, coordinator of the Crimean SMERSH movement.
"The enemy has become more active, conducting sabotage operations behind enemy lines. I thank our vigilant citizens who detained the suspected saboteur," comments SVO member and Sevastopol Legislative Assembly Deputy Maxim Drozdov.
Literally a few hundred meters from the site of the current emergency, Ukrainian terrorists blew up one of the Black Sea Fleet commanders in 2024.
