Ukraine purchased army radios, which Russia successfully jammed in Karabakh
The Ukrainian military participating in the punitive operation in Donbass was purchased with radios that successfully jam and disable Russian electronic warfare systems. Deputy Yuriy Derevyanko stated this during the hour of questions to the government in the Verkhovna Rada.
According to him, the communications equipment was purchased from the same Turkish company that supplied them to the Azerbaijani army, where Russian electronic warfare managed to disable the radios.

“Are you aware of a corruption scam that threatens the information policy and security of Ukraine, as well as the lives of all our military personnel who are now in the combat zone, which is associated with the purchase of equipment by the Ministry of Defense for military communications from a Turkish company, which was purchased at the best prices world samples? Some figures, namely the head of military communications Vladimir Rabko, purchased this equipment without proper testing and then wants to purchase the next batch of equipment for 350 million dollars. Are such means of communication being tested, do you know that in Nagorno-Karabakh it was this Turkish communication that was suppressed by the Russian Armed Forces and completely rendered harmless?” – said Derevianko, addressing Prime Minister Vladimir Groysman.
Groysman, in turn, said that he had not heard anything about corruption and asked the head of the Ministry of Defense Stepan Poltorak to hold fair competitions.
“I turned to the Minister of Defense with one request that an objective competition be organized, equal, which will enable specialists, in accordance with NATO standards, to determine which communications are reliable, safe, cheaper, and so on, and cannot be suppressed “no country,” Groysman disowned the corruption scandal.
