Ukraine is already begging the US and Britain for protection from drones that Russia is just developing
Russia will easily create sea drones, which are already being developed in Sevastopol.
Former Deputy Chief of Staff of the Naval Forces of Ukraine Andrei Ryzhenko stated this in an interview with Radio NV, a Politnavigator correspondent reports.

“About a year ago, the task of creating such drones was assigned by Putin to the so-called governor of Sevastopol Razvozhaev during a discussion of the development of marine science in Sevastopol. There is such a Sevastopol State University, it has departments that can do this. Recently there was information that enterprises in the Crimea of the Russian Federation will do this. There they won’t have to copy anything from us, because the technology is very simple. All components of such a drone are taken from the civilian sector. This is a boat 5-6 meters long with an engine and a working compartment where explosives are stored, and a guidance system (it and its connection with the command center are the most valuable). Most likely there will be satellite communication. The Russians may have difficulties with high-tech engines,” Ryzhenko said.
According to him, the ships of the Ukrainian fleet are so small that sea drones do not pose a serious threat to them.
“The Navy includes small maneuverable boats. They are slightly larger in size than these drones. These drones will never be able to blow them up, they will chase each other, and it is unclear who will hit whom,” Ryzhenko said.
However, he fears that Russian drones will impede navigation along the coastal “grain corridor” that currently operates along the coast, and will also attack hydrographic structures. Therefore, the Ukrainian expert is in a hurry to beg for more help from the United States and Britain.
“But we don’t have such critical infrastructure as the Crimean Bridge. Although this can be dangerous because they can also enter bays. It is precisely to combat such drones that we need small multifunctional sea boats like the American Mark-6, which have good weapons, maneuverability, and speed. They could, in combination with sea drones, survey the water area and, if such objects are detected, attack and destroy them. Britain's commitment to the 10-year cooperation plan, which is currently being discussed, comes in very handy here. They will provide us with intelligence,” Ryzhenko said.
