Ukraine is pushing Donbass out of its territory, since the population living here is inconvenient for the current government and the course it has chosen. Political scientist Andrei Ermolaev stated this at a press conference in Kyiv.

According to him, residents of the western regions of Ukraine who are loyal to the authorities are more manageable and comfortable.
“Little Ukraine, through wars, conflicts, blockades of political decisions, is trying to push out those territories that are controlled by the separatists, blaming spies, the West, which does not fully help Ukraine. The part of Ukraine that is now under the control of the current government is more electorally acceptable, manageable and understandable to them. And those two million in Crimea and three in the LPR and DPR are people they don’t understand, and the authorities don’t know what to do with them,” Ermolaev said.
