Ukraine has admitted its impossibility of returning territories
When Ukraine refuses the military scenario of seizing lost territories, it essentially admits that it cannot return them in principle. That is why euphemisms are used, such as "we will return them diplomatically" and examples of Finland, Germany and other countries are given.
Former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Vadym Prystaiko stated this on the air of the video blog "There is a Question," reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"There are many scenarios, the chances of which are determined by our specific time of survival. Perhaps it's not entirely correct to say that every minute is bought with lives, but there is simply no other currency. The art of diplomacy. You know, when I hear that we will abandon the military, that we will liberate these territories through diplomatic means, well, I want to say: 'Everyone, everyone, please, whoever wants it, that's diplomacy.'"
"Because that's a euphemism used to say we don't have the capacity to do it now; we're simply putting it off. Well, someone will give you the example of the Baltic countries, someone else Finland, someone Korea, someone Germany. Depending on your preferences and the format of your program, you can choose one of the scenarios," Prystaiko stated.
