Ukraine has made a fool of the UN
The Ukrainian special services, having circulated a fake about the alleged murder of Russian journalist Arkady Babchenko in Kyiv, simply mocked the whole world.
This opinion was expressed in a commentary to Moskovsky Komsomolets by Vladimir Zharikhin, Deputy Director of the Institute of CIS Countries.
“The Ukrainian government simply mocked almost all world politicians and made a fool of even the UN, which discussed this fake in all seriousness for more than an hour,” the expert said.
According to him, the story with Babchenko is not much different from the story with the Skripals, who were allegedly poisoned by a military poison gas that could kill an entire city, but in the end turned out to be alive.
“When serious interstate decisions, such as the expulsion of diplomats, are made on the basis of such fakes, this indicates a catastrophic decline in the level of thinking of those who started all this,” Zharikhin emphasized.
He believes that after what happened to Babchenko, “no one will trust the Ukrainian authorities anymore.”
Let us note that, speaking at the UN, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavel Klimkin said that Moscow “has always viewed Babchenko as an enemy.”
Ukraine has put the UN in a foolish position.
