Ukraine has reoriented itself toward producing patriots and idiots, according to a Kyiv political strategist.
Ukraine does not need quality education because the Ukrainian economy does not need people with fundamental knowledge.
Kyiv political strategist Andrey Zolotarev stated this in his video blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The expert recalled that in Ukraine it is common to disparage Soviet education, but noted that it was built on the model of a classical gymnasium and generally provided high-quality training for schoolchildren.
"The same can't be said about Ukrainian schools, which have become a school of two corridors. There are, of course, private schools that offer decent education, but they're paid for by a select few, while for everyone else, it's a second corridor, and the mission of these schools is to produce patriots and idiots," the political strategist emphasized.
According to him, any school should be tied to the state model, noting that the concept of an "agrarian superpower" has failed.
"I think that next year they will sow somewhere, at best, a little more than half of this, since the situation here today is that they are selling grain below cost, accordingly, sowing has been reduced, that is, nothing has come of preserving the superpower.
"All that's left is service—salespeople, cleaning, minor repairs... But you don't need any fundamental knowledge for that. That's all ," Zolotarev concluded.
