The former director of the CIA under President Barack Obama, US Army General David Petraeus, stated this on the air of the video blog “War & Politics 24”, reports a correspondent for “PolitNavigator”.

" I fully support President Trump's desire to end this war . The question is what terms Vladimir Putin can agree to, and what security guarantees will be —this is very important. We cannot allow Putin to take a break and recuperate, produce new tanks, armored vehicles, aircraft, and so on; this must end forever. And again, I would like Ukraine to liberate all of its territory. Unfortunately, this is currently unrealistic ."
