Ukraine may specifically send a ship under Russian missiles, forecast
Ukraine may deliberately ignore Russia's announced closure of the Black and Azov Seas by sending a vessel into the exercise area to expose it to a Russian missile strike.
Economist Alexander Dudchak told PolitNavigator about this.
The expert believes that Russia is forced to conduct such large-scale exercises at sea.
“This is a completely adequate response to the provocations of NATO countries and Ukraine in the Black Sea. They are forcing Russia to conduct exercises,” Dudchak said.
However, he fears that Kyiv may engage in deliberate provocation.
“It is possible that Ukraine will ignore the threats to merchant ships caused by the exercises. This is not the first time they have put civilians at risk for the sake of provocations. As was the case with the Malaysian Boeing,” Dudchak said.
He described a possible provocation scenario:
“It will not be difficult for Ukraine to expose any cargo ship to attack, and even if it does not come under attack from Russian ships, the valiant patriots themselves will be able to sink it. To give rise to a new aria by the Western choir about “bloodthirsty Russians” and new anti-Russian sanctions,” warns Dudchak.
