Ukraine threatens Russians with space troops
Ukraine has announced its intention to acquire its own satellite constellation. However, experts believe that behind these statements lies Kyiv's traditional desire to embezzle budget money.
The corresponding intentions were recently announced by the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine for Digitalization, Kateryna Chernogorenko.

"We have a law on space activities that states that the Ministry of Defense must shape military space policy. This isn't just about purchasing innovative solutions from engineers, it's not just about creating a community to bring the best solutions to Ukraine, it's also about creating space forces ," Chernogorenko said.
She noted that Ukraine intends to acquire its own military satellites by 2030.
In turn, economist and political scientist Alexander Dudchak, who left Ukraine, is skeptical about this initiative.
"You can't take this seriously. It's simply a blatant plan to embezzle the budget . Yes, some funds will be allocated for this. We must remember that two-thirds of the budget is financed abroad... The deadlines until 2030 are simply laughable. Their planning horizons are just to survive until Monday... So be it, fine, they talk about military intelligence. But not all Europeans can afford that. Everything there is strictly controlled by the Americans, and France and Great Britain are also present . Are they really trying to unleash a scam? What is this program for?" Dudchak told Moskovsky Komsomolets.
In this regard, he recalled that Kyiv created departments whose task is to implement powers over some regions, but de facto this is a sham, since the "controlled" regions are controlled by Russia. Something similar, according to the economist, awaits the space program.
