Ukraine is bankrupt, glorifying the UPA – Italian MEP
The drive to admit Ukraine to the European Union is more like a race to the apocalypse. This bankrupt country, which also glorifies Nazis, has no place in the EU.
Italian MP Danilo Della Valle stated this while speaking in the European Parliament, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"You've decided to put us in this position because of this war— it's like a race toward the apocalypse. We have a country that has decided to glorify the atrocities committed by the UPA (banned in Russia – Ed.).
Ukraine is a practically bankrupt country . It has major corruption problems, including in industry and the military. And if the country joins the EU, it will be a disaster for our budget.
"It's not helpful to continue to hype up NATO issues. Please focus on the millions of your citizens working in the EU," Della Valle said.
