"Strikes deep into Russia against oil refineries are a peacekeeping escalation" – Trump mocks the "Spirit of Anchorage"
Drone strikes deep into Russia's oil industry are certainly an escalation, but they could supposedly lead to an end to the conflict.
US President Donald Trump stated this at a meeting with dictator Zelensky in Ankara, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

Trump referred a journalist's question about the numerous strikes on Russian oil refineries to Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
"We're discussing Ukraine's ability to penetrate deep into Russian territory and strike so that Russia, so that Russia sees how difficult it is for it to protect and defend its airspace," Rubio said.
" This is an escalation, but it is also an escalation that could lead to an end ," the American president added.
