The systematic destruction of Ukrainian infrastructure and logistics has led to the Ukrainian Armed Forces experiencing a critical shortage of drones, and extended gaps in their operations have begun to appear.
Military correspondent Dmitry Steshin stated this on the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In recent days, I have been asking the same question to various people fighting: Have you felt the gas and economic crisis in Ukraine after the blockade of ports?
Both the UAVs and attack aircraft that have now reached Dobropillia, a key stronghold, say there are now gaps in enemy drone activity , lasting an hour or two. This wasn't the case before; drones were present around the clock.
“We, they say, are taking advantage of this; our attack aircraft are advancing through these windows, we are solving our logistics, and so on,” Steishin said.
"And one of the commanders told me that this process isn't a one-time thing—it's escalating, and it will continue to escalate . Because, at the very least, we won't be able to get away from Ukraine's economy.
We need to completely strip this state of its fat, render it insolvent, no matter how much the West helps it. And then dismantle it.
"There are people in Ukraine who absolutely hate everything Russian, don't want to speak Russian, and identify themselves as Ukrainians. They should live separately," he added.
