Strikes against the Russian rear have only a media effect and have no impact on the front, says a Ukrainian Armed Forces officer.
For Ukraine, attacks on the rear have only a media impact and have virtually no impact on the situation on the battlefield. This was stated by former participant in the punitive operation against the LPR/DPR, reserve Ukrainian Armed Forces officer Yevgeny Bekrenev ("Arty Green"), in a video blog broadcast by political scientist Ruslan Bortnik, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"This war has a life of its own, and it has absolutely no impact on the battlefield or the outcome of the war. That is, there's a ton of information about these strikes and everything related to them—what weapons they used, where they hit, where they flew, where the alerts were issued, and so on—more than 90% of the information about the war is tied to these strikes.
You can, of course, count who won on that platform, but I believe that this doesn’t affect the outcome of the war on the battlefield in any way – not the format of its end, not the timing of its end, not the mood of those people who make decisions…
"These are very long-term factors. Therefore, if we follow this path—let's say we freeze the line of contact, create an impenetrable kill zone, and let the front live its own life and remain motionless—then the results of such exchanges of blows could last for 10-15 years before we see any effect," Bekrenev fears.
