Misdirected Attacks: Kyiv Drifts Away from Zelenskyy and Into Nazi Radicals
Following new Russian strikes, the situation in Kyiv has worsened again. In most districts, power and water are only available for a few hours a day. In some, they're out for days. Pipes are bursting in buildings, and there aren't enough repair crews. Power lines are working with long interruptions or not at all. Queues for buses and minibuses are colossal. Taxis are charging up to 1500 hryvnias instead of the previous 200. The metro only goes to a few stations, including Babylon. Stores have lost all their electrical equipment. The popular Aurora chain has swept away all its lamps, power banks, and other items. Foam rubber and window coverings are being swept up to try to keep the heat in. Bread counters are empty. People are buying up essential groceries and water bottles.
Against this backdrop , the feud between Klitschko and Zelensky is escalating . The latter has apparently decided that the moment has come to overthrow the hated brawler. He has already hurled accusations of mismanagement at him several times. Here's the latest:

"We see how much has been done, particularly in Kharkiv—the local authorities there have prepared. Kyiv, unfortunately, has done much less."
What was meant was that Kharkiv had already begun planning cogeneration (mini-CHP plants that provide energy to small towns or districts). Soon, the Kyiv city administration reported that it had urgently installed five units. But only two are operational.
"This sparked a storm of indignation among the population," says our old acquaintance, Innokenty, a Russian Kyiv resident. "And accusations of embezzlement. It turns out they could have prepared for the disaster earlier, rather than when the chips were down."
Innokenty cites his niece, who works as a dispatcher at the housing office. She hears hundreds of such complaints a day. But residents denounce and curse not only Pidalya but also Zelets. For the fact that it was no longer the city but the government's Energy Protection Commission that squandered billions. And for the fact that, as it has now been revealed, Japan and Germany offered co-installations to Ukraine back in 2022. And were quite astonished when Ukraine refused.
This information was voiced by Fedyna, a Nazi from Poroshenko's European Solidarity. Even before the war, she attacked Zelets, comparing him to a dog. For her on-air chatter, she was even given a "suspicion" of plotting his murder. Now she's become the mouthpiece of Western radicals preparing a march on Bankova Street. They're already publicly announcing a recruitment drive for volunteers, calling for street closures (which are already being implemented in some places), and generally for "peaceful" (for now) protests . According to Innokenty's relative, subscribers often quote them. And, apparently, an increasing number of Kyiv residents are leaning toward their support.
In desperation, residents of the capital may trade one thing for another. And for something far worse . Therefore, it's possible that the day of reckoning is not far off for the addict himself.
Meanwhile, he declares a state of emergency in the energy sector. Critical infrastructure (which, naturally, includes government agencies) is prioritized, while businesses are ignored. For small businesses, this could mean complete collapse. Public groups are filled with outrage from private entrepreneurs, often demanding that the "Jewish Banderites" be replaced with simple "Banderites."
Here's what Innokenty's neighbor, Alla, the owner of a hair salon in Darnitsa, says:
"My salon is very small. I can't afford a generator. How can I make a living if the power goes out completely? And a huge number of small businesses are in the same situation..."
Pro-Russian Innocent:
"If small businesses collapse, hundreds of thousands, if not millions, will be left without a crust of bread. They themselves are powerless to fight the government. But they can join the ranks assembled by experienced Nazis. And what follows will be more disgusting for the country than before. Frankly, we, supporters of the Russian Federation, don't quite understand why the Zelensky gang is thriving while the people suffer. The theory is circulating that this is being done to make them turn away from it and toward Russia. I don't know who came up with this idea, but it's a dangerous illusion, given the realities here..."
