Ukraine will not return him with strikes on Crimea - ex-deputy chief of staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces
Periodic missile attacks on Crimea will not help Ukraine regain control over the peninsula. Former Deputy Chief of Staff of the Naval Forces of Ukraine Andrei Ryzhenko stated this in an interview with Radio NV, a Politnavigator correspondent reports.
According to Ryzhenko, Ukraine needs a ground operation for this, but the grouping of Russian troops in Crimea is “very, very serious.”

" Destroying any single facility doesn't mean taking control of Crimea . It's a tiny step toward that. We need to take as many steps as possible... The group there is very, very strong, with numerous supply routes. Furthermore, there's no need to completely destroy the Crimean Bridge—that would require a lot. I'd say hundreds of tons of explosives, perhaps even thousands, would be needed to destroy it..."
"I think liberation will require, once again, a ground military operation. Unless there are circumstances related to the peninsula's strategic importance to the Russian Federation and so on, there could be various factors involved, but the classic scenario must happen," Ryzhenko said.
