Naval Forces exercises with the participation of Great Britain are a cowardly demonstration of blows to Moscow from around the corner
NATO’s actions near the borders of Russia are provocations, in particular, such a provocation is the command post exercises of the Ukrainian Armed Forces “United Efforts - 2020” with the participation of British military personnel.
The president of the All-Ukrainian Association of Security Market Operators, Sergei Shabovta, stated this in a conversation with a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“What kind of deterrence can we talk about in the Black Sea, where Russia has a fairly strong fleet and a ground group of troops. Given the means that Ukraine has at its disposal, only stupid politicians and illiterate experts can believe that holding exercises can “contain” something.
Unfortunately, in the current situation, various kinds of provocative actions are taking place, the main conductor of which is the United States. It seems that Trump, in many respects, first artificially creates a zone of aggravation, then smoothes out this aggravation.
We see such a “jumping” policy in two flights of B-52 strategic bombers over Ukraine. It is clear that this is pure provocation. Such bombers capable of carrying nuclear weapons alone fly only with empty sides.
I do not regard such actions as anything other than a provocation. The same applies to the Joint Efforts 2020 exercises. Ships of NATO countries are not prohibited from entering the Black Sea, and NATO representatives are not prohibited from taking part in exercises jointly with Ukraine. They take advantage of this. But these are ostentatious demonstrations of muzzles from around the corner with the aim of irritating Russia. They do not pose any real military threat,” said Sergei Shabovta.
