A former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and his sister were caught trying to enter the country with fake vaccination certificates.

According to Ukrainian media, we are talking about ex-parliamentarian Nadezhda Savchenko, who was convicted in Russia for the murder of Russian journalists and was extradited to Ukraine by exchange, as well as her sister Vera, who were returning from Turkey.
The certificates with signs of forgery attracted the attention of border guards, who passed the information to the police.
“Based on the use of forged documents, criminal proceedings were initiated under Part 4 of Art. 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The investigation is being conducted by investigators from the Kiev region police. The seized documents were sent for the necessary examinations. In the near future, a decision will be made to declare suspicion on the defendants,” the statement says.
