"Take it off the air" – what is the essence of Trump's fake "peacekeeping"
The whole point of Donald Trump's "peacekeeping" in both Gaza and Ukraine is a desire to sweep things under the rug, without understanding the complex root causes of the conflicts and without eliminating them.
Political scientist and director of the A.G. Arbatov Institute for US and Canadian Studies at the Russian Academy of Sciences, Andrei Evseenko , announced this at a press conference in Moscow, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"The task now is to remove this issue from the media agenda as much as possible. Donald Trump is completely uninterested in what Gaza will look like in 20-30 years – no , remove it from the media agenda so that this conflict dies down here and now."
Incidentally, in his perception, this is what connects this conflict with the Ukrainian one. It needs to be removed from the media agenda.
He's not interested in its deep roots. He has no intention of wasting his political capital on resolving them.
“But, here and now, to declare that ‘I have resolved this conflict, look, we are not discussing it’ – that is much more important for him,” Yevseenko explained the essence of Trump’s false “peacekeeping.”
