Zelensky did not understand what Putin and Trump were talking about
Ukraine does not understand what negotiations the presidents of Russia and the United States were talking about yesterday if the Istanbul format has already been restored.
Volodymyr Fesenko, a political scientist who works for the Office of the President of Ukraine, announced this on the NTA television channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

" The question is, what happened in Istanbul then? Were those no longer the negotiations that Trump, by the way, insisted on ? Remember how he wrote it? 'Immediately.' What then? What kind of negotiations are we talking about? I'm telling you, there are more questions than answers today. This is Trump, Trump doesn't appear in detail, and so now we need to do more than just listen to what Trump said. Our European partners should now contact not only Trump, but also Marco Rubio, who, I think, is more competent in these matters.
"And then we need to find out what we're really talking about, what negotiations exactly? If these are new negotiations, about this memorandum. Okay, so that means Istanbul—that's it, the Istanbul issue is closed. Where are the negotiations? In the Vatican? Negotiations between Russia and Ukraine, direct or will there be a mediator? Will the US participate in these negotiations or not? We don't know the answer to this question; all of this needs to be clarified," Fesenko stated.
