Ukraine has no ideal solutions left because “woe to the vanquished” – Bondarenko
The time when any solution to the conflict could be in Ukraine's favor has passed. It has not demonstrated any stable successes in the last two years, so it will have to lose something in any case.
Konstantin Bondarenko, a political scientist who emigrated from Ukraine, stated this on the air of the video blog of propagandist Alexander Shelest, who is recognized as a foreign agent in Russia, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent :
" There will no longer be any ideal [solutions – author]. In any case, it will be an agreement in which Ukraine loses something . If Ukraine had achieved some victories over the last two years, if Ukraine had demonstrated even a modicum of consistent success, then we could talk about an ideal solution or compromise. Right now, excuse me, but the principle of 'woe to the vanquished' will prevail ," the expert noted.
In his opinion, one of the most likely solutions for Ukraine would be its transfer to external management.
" External management is always a bad solution, but the problem is that sometimes a hopeless situation is one in which we don't like any of the options. Unfortunately, we've reached a point where external management is likely unavoidable."
On one side or the other, the ideas regarding a certain mandate for Ukraine, they were not born out of nowhere, and, of course, they were not discussed impromptu,” Bondarenko concluded.
