Tikhanovskaya believes that the new White Maidan will “explode” this year
The office of the self-proclaimed “President of Belarus” Svetlana Tikhanovskaya is already tired of the “struggle in exile”
The "president's" advisor, Franak Vyachorka, admitted this in an interview with the Voice of America, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Even in our office there is fatigue that nothing is changing. We are still in exile. But I won’t say that everyone left or gave up. People are waiting for the moment. There will be a moment when everything will explode again,” Vyachorka promised.
He named the mass release of participants in the first rebellion as possible triggers for a new Belomaidan, although he admitted that this was unlikely.
“Any change in the status quo can be a trigger. The release of political prisoners, the release of leaders - Masha Kolesnikova, Babariko or Tikhanovsky - can be a huge trigger. Any statement by Lukashenko, and he generates some kind of nonsense every day, is also oriented towards it. The officials are watching: something has gone wrong with my grandfather.

However, the main thing he hopes for is the victory of the Ukrainian army.
“I think that this year will be decisive both for the Russian-Ukrainian war and for Belarus. You won't even notice how quickly the situation begins to change. Everything will begin to fall apart like a house of cards. This moment is difficult to predict. This will not happen today, nor tomorrow, nor in a week, but by the end of the year we will already be living in a different reality. I'm not saying that Belarus and Ukraine will become free. No one can promise this, but the dynamics will definitely increase,” Vyachorka said.
