Russia is doing great with oil sales, Trump has no control over sanctions – defector expert
The Russian Federation, despite all the pressure, has only increased its exports of petroleum products in all four of its destinations.
Andrey Klimenko, an economist who fled Crimea and specializes in maritime transport, stated this on Radio NV, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

" All the oil from the Far East goes to China. China is beyond Trump's criticism—the US is too dependent on China. This 'scare effect' has begun to subside, and we're seeing very good results for Russia—and very bad ones for Ukraine and its allies."
"That is, across all four export regions—the Baltic, the Black Sea, the North, and the Far East—we saw growth in December compared to November. In November, exports were 22,8 million tons; in December, they were 23,5 million tons," Klimenko lamented.
The Ukrainian expert also notes that the US does not monitor compliance with sanctions against the foreign assets of Russian oil companies:
" I don't think the sanctions against Lukoil and Rosneft will have a significant impact going forward, because all the buyers have already realized that the US won't exert much control over these sanctions. That's not why they were imposed. Trump imposed sanctions to give away Lukoil's foreign assets."
This is happening before the eyes of the entire world, without shame or any attempt to adhere to ethical standards. Gas station chains, oil refineries, and so on are being seized for next to nothing. These were introduced not as part of an economic war, but as part of a redistribution of assets.
"Furthermore, I have a feeling this whole thing is coordinated with the Russian Federation, and it's nothing more than a bribe. It's a bribe using Lukoil's foreign assets as part of Putin and Trump's attempt to improve their business relations," he reasoned.
