Germany is seriously short of funds to solve its domestic problems, but Berlin is still financing Ukraine.
German entrepreneur Alexander von Bismarck stated this in an interview with journalist Marina Zakamskaya, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"The Greens have once again gained the upper hand over the CDU in a potential new government, which suddenly claims we have so much extra money. We don't have an extra 100 euros for kindergarten, but we have billions for weapons and green energy , even though we all know we still need fossil fuels to keep the economy afloat. After all, they've simply shut everything down, even though we need cheap energy," the businessman complained.
"And we can only hope that America and Russia will restart Nord Stream 2 and supply us with cheap energy, since it's the foundation of the economy. And it's important for us, the people, too. We now pay three to four times more for electricity than before . Utility bills are now sometimes higher than rent."
