“People have run out of money” – an officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine complains that it has become difficult to collect for weapons
In the second year of the war against Russia, Ukrainian units are still forced to independently purchase drones, begging for money wherever possible.
The head of the aviation service of the 3rd separate assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Vasily Samovar, stated this on air on the Dnepro TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“There are problems with the targeted and adequate distribution of drones. The state gives us, but less than we need, so we attract charitable foundations, fundraisers, and bloggers who help us raise money. And we buy these wings ourselves.
Our collection recently closed, we collected seven and a half million hryvnia for the purchase of one Leleka 100 complex,” Samovar said.
He complained that at the same time, the money coming in from the collections had become much less.
“Of course, people started donating less. The war has been going on for almost two years, and people have run out of extra money to spend on the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Because yes, they began to donate much less,” the officer added.
