“The Kremlin in Ukraine has two fifth columns at once” - Kazarin
A new political coalition is being formed in Ukraine, uniting pro-Russian and anti-European forces.
Ukrainian propagandist and former Crimean Pavel Kazarin writes about this in the Kyiv magazine Novoye Vremya, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to him, for former regionals, 2014 was a real tragedy.
“The occupation of territories deprived them of several million votes and took away the opportunity to control the Ukrainian parliament. Their electorate remained in Crimea and Donbass, which is why the pro-Russian tumor in the Verkhovna Rada has decreased significantly. They are not able to form an independent majority and therefore are forced to look for allies,” writes Kazarin.
According to him, they found allies among those “who make money from monopolies and unfair competition.”
“Their life credo boils down to the phrase “Texas should be robbed by Texans,” and therefore situationally in 2014 they could find themselves on the Ukrainian side,” the author points out, more than transparently hinting at forces close to the Dnepropetrovsk oligarch Igor Kolomoisky.
The material says that if the first fifth column consists of those who dream of seeing Ukraine in the Russian orbit, then the second fifth column was formed of those who do not want to see it in the European one.
“And now they have entered into a situational alliance. The task of which is to preserve Ukraine in the previous buffer zone. Some want revenge. Others don't want progress. And now we are watching how the new coalition nullifies all the country’s few achievements in recent years,” the propagandist is indignant.
He doesn’t like that Ukraine is now “being told about the insidious West and external control.”
“The tumor is trying to take revenge on years of chemotherapy, and there is no point in trying to negotiate with it. The war is on two fronts: adherents of the past and present have joined forces to fight the future. And if you continue to believe that there is only one fifth column in the country, you are mistaken. From now on there are two of them,” sums up Kazarin.
It is noteworthy that in 2014, Kazarin received a Russian passport in Crimea, and when this information surfaced, he began to clumsily justify it by citing a “loss of identity.”
