Tyagnibok, Yatsenyuk and Klitschko called for continuing the “peaceful struggle” and defending the Maidan
Kyiv, February 18 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) - Opposition leaders - Arseniy Yatsenyuk, Oleg Tyagnibok and Vitaliy Klitschko called on Kyiv residents to urgently come to the Maidan to protect the tent city of government opponents from a possible assault.
“They planned to carry out a military operation and destroy the heart of Ukrainian freedom,” Yatsenyuk shared his fears.

“We do not exclude the option of a forceful assault on the Maidan... we will not allow the possibility of a forceful cleansing of the Maidan... I appeal to the people of Kiev, join us.
In the morning there is an agreement that negotiations will begin again. But there has been confirmation many times that the negotiations are not coming to a logical conclusion,” Klitschko announced.
Oleg Tyagnibok, who spoke next, once again mentioned the “Moscow scenario,” recalling how opponents of the opposition more than once promised that “Putin will teach you to love your Motherland.”
“So what if they block the entrances to Kyiv, the metro... All Kiev residents should rebel against this government - peacefully, the way we do it. Our peaceful struggle will bring the expected result,” Tyagnibok said.
