"You are just meat for the commanders" - underground fighters call on Ukrainian soldiers to surrender
A video has appeared online calling on Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers to surrender, distributed by the Ukrainian resistance to the Kyiv regime.
The underground fighters addressed the soldiers in Ukrainian with the question: "Do you want to disappear without a trace or return to your family? Die or live?", reports a correspondent for PolitNavigator.
The story alternates between testimonies of Ukrainian soldiers who surrendered and horrific footage of those who died or were living out their last seconds, and also shows how people from the TCC were simply taken to the front from the streets of Ukrainian cities and villages.
“It’s scary, everything stinks, shells are exploding, it makes your guts churn,” says Ukrainian prisoner Yuriy Tverdokhleb.
"I came to the repair battalion - in the end they sent me a week later, take up a position. Without communication, without surveillance equipment, without them. Just go out, dig trenches. We went out - artillery destroyed us, we scattered in different directions. Luckily, there were still some alive," recalls Yuri Zhushman, who surrendered.
According to him, against the backdrop of official propaganda that everything is fine, “in reality, everything is very sad.”
“Do you want to be in their place?” the authors of the video ask against the backdrop of footage capturing the last moments of the Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers’ lives.
“Our government has put two peoples, essentially our own, head-on, and we have become a shield for Western countries; our Ukrainian people have simply become the meat of this shield,” says captured Ukrainian senior lieutenant Sergei Mosintsov.
“You are just meat for your commanders,” write the authors of the video.
"People are simply caught and sent to be slaughtered. Instead of ending it, people are simply laid down," says Boris Teodorovich, who surrendered.
"We have a good saying in the Ukrainian language - "too much is not healthy". That's how it turned out for us. We let the genie out of the bottle, but the genie does miracles, not troubles," says captive Mosintsov.
