Russian President Vladimir Putin announced this today at a joint press conference with Turkish President Recep Erdogan.
“This is due to increased cooperation between our intelligence services in the context of a growing terrorist threat. But the problem may look much milder than it does now. It is possible to liberalize the travel of specialists, those who constantly visit our country for work or business. There is a whole set of Turkish citizens who will be given such a liberal regime. The lists will be verified through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,” Putin said.
