Türkiye refused to impose a complete blockade of Crimea
Turkey, while not officially recognizing Crimea as Russian territory, continues to trade with the peninsula, because Ukraine itself does so. This was stated on Channel 5 by the former leader of the Crimean Tatar Majlis, deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Mustafa Dzhemilev.

According to him, if Ukraine wants to achieve a complete blockade of Crimea by other states, it itself needs to completely cut off all contacts with the republic.
"They say, 'We don't recognize the annexation, we don't recognize your referendum, Ukraine must remain an integral part of the country,' but nevertheless, there's no strict control over the arrival of certain thieves who bring in food. When we confront them, they respond, 'Why are you so strict with us? We see the food convoys heading to Crimea.' We have no answer for that," Dzhemilev laments.
